Anita Spear, MS, CCC-SLP graduated from Northeastern University with her bachelors and masters in Speech Language Pathology and a minor in Psychology in 2010. She is originally from Rockland County, NY and currently resides in Melrose, MA. She began working per diem at the Kioko Center in 2012 after volunteering with Global Occupational Therapy for Orphans in Haiti. In addition to Kioko, Anita works at a collaborative school providing speech therapy to students ages 3- 22 with moderate to severe disabilities. Her interests include Autism spectrum disorders, augmentative and alternative communication, and social pragmatics. Anita is passionate about working with children of all ages in order to improve their functional communication skills to help them be successful in all settings.
