Dana Shaffer, M.S., CCC-SLP, originally from Methuen, completed her Bachelor’s degree at Worcester State University in Worcester, MA, where she majored in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She continued her education at Worcester State, where she also received her Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Most of her experience includes working in schools with children and adults ages 3-22 with variety of disabilities ranging from mild to severe. Dana works at the Kioko Center as a per diem speech-language pathologist during after school hours and works in the public elementary school setting (grades K-5) full-time. She is passionate about working with children and finds nothing more rewarding than witnessing and being part of a child’s communicative success.
